Summer School

NEAR IGLULIK, NUNAVUT: A July walrus hunt just outside Iglulik was a part of a Piqqusilirivvik Inuit Cultural School program that gives young Inuit an opportunity to learn how to hunt using both traditional and modern techniques. The group got two walruses, which they cleaned and dressed before heading back to a tent camp at Iglulik Point.
