Strange things done: our Robert Service poetry contest returns!

There are strange things written in the midnight sun, and we want to read all about them. Pen us a ballad set in the North, and make it rollicking, rhyming, haunting or heroic – so long as it captures the style and spirit of the beloved bard of the Klondike, Robert Service. The contest is open to all, and the winning poems will be published in an upcoming issue of Up Here.

First Prize: $750

Second Prize: $250
